Hello, I'm Robbie. Until coronavirus upended our daily lives, I was a student of Artisan Distilling at Niagara College and a lover of rye whisky. As a student with virtually no income, my whisky habit quickly came up against my light wallet. Thankfully, I've always had an affinity for whisky the way we make it. Leave the thousand dollar bottles to Scotland, I say, and let us enjoy the warmth of rye on a winter night without being forced to consider mortgage options.

In this blog, I seek out enriching discussions on rye with experts in the field and review the underrated bottles that have caused whisky snobs to turn up their noses.
